Michelle and I went out on the boat today after early birthday dinner.

Forecast called for mid to high 70s with 2-7mph winds.

No wind so we motored around past the coast guard station to the Sewickley Bridge and back. Of course, as we got a bit past the Neville Island point, the wind picked up, but by then we were running out of time and did not raise the sails.

On the way back, we had a good test of the boat stability as a large boat flew by us causing a large wake. The boat held up and we did not get swamped.

Leaving the dock and coming back out was uneventful and I even got some kudos for the job well done 🙂
